This Fall, Brown Bag is very pleased to introduce a new line of Classic Cookie Stamps, 3” tall fluted beauties that press out 3” cookies.
Decorated with Santa’s smiling face, a Christmas Tree, a Snowflake, or with a tiny Reindeer, leaping across a wintry sky.
All Classic Cookie Stamps are made in America from high-fired stoneware. They are 100% lead free, and are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.
Each comes with an instruction and recipe booklet with 5 delicious recipes and directions for making ice cream sandwiches.
Check our “Find A Store” to locate a retailer near you.
Stamping Instructions
Stamp each ball with your Classic Cookie Stamp, being careful to press down evenly. You can vary the thickness of your cookies according to how much dough you use and how hard you press.
Bake on the top shelf in a 350° oven until lightly browned; start checking after 12 minutes.
Note: Do NOT oil your cookie stamp. If you are having trouble with sticking, lightly dust the stamp base with flour, then tap to remove excess and stamp.
Wash your Classic Cookie Stamp in hot soapy water or in the dishwasher.
Santa
Ring in the Holidays this year with homemade cookies made using our handcrafted Santa Cookie Stamp. These cookies will bring a smile to faces, young and old, as they celebrate the season. If you would like to “paint” Santa’s face with edible food coloring, check out the instructions for Painted Cookies in the “New Idea Book”.
X-mas Tree
Create delicious and memorable Holiday cookies using our handcrafted Christmas Tree Cookie Stamp. It’s easy to press this classic design into unbaked dough to make truly extraordinary treats that are beautiful just as they come from the oven. Or you can embellish them still further, as your heart desires.
Snowflake
Delight family and friends with Snowflake cookies made using our stoneware cookie stamp. You can add sparkle with a few extra sugar crystals. Better yet, make extraordinary ice cream sandwiches with whatever combination of cookie and ice cream flavors you want. The recipe booklet with each stamp tells you how.
Reindeer
A tiny reindeer leaps across the winter sky to deliver Christmas joy. Family and friends will be delighted with cookies made using our handcrafted Reindeer Cookie Stamp. Delicious, memorable, and very special… that’s what Brown Bag cookies are all about. We look forward to celebrating the season with you.

Hello,
I have a Winnie the Pooh stamp several molds and the brown bag cookie book, but there is no discussion of making stamp cookies. Can you tell me if the recipes are the same? Also, does one roll out the dough, stamp and then cut out, or roll balls, stamp and trim?
Thank you for your help.
Sara
Hi, Sara,
The short answer is that all of the recipes that work for cookie molds also work for making stamped cookies. I’ll write up the stamping instructions and post them on the website tomorrow.
Lucy
Hi, Sara,
Check the stamping instructions that I posted. Th at should answer the “how to” part of your question. As to the recipes, yes. They are the same for cookie molds and stamps. I just try to present a variety in the different booklets.
The shortbread recipes won’t work with molds or stamps, however. There is way too much butter in those recipes to hold the detail of the stamps or molds.

These are so lovely, so happy you’re are making such delightfully delicious designs!
Hi Lynn,
I am glad you like them. I really enjoyed creating these designs.

I am so so glad to see this site is up and running. My collection used to line the doorway of my old apartment. My current facebook page is witch cookies from a couple of years back. Great memories of decorating with my daughter.
I am looking forward to upcoming fun with you. I have loved your molds for more years than I can remember.
Hi, Diane,
Thanks for the e-mail. You have witch cookies on your Facebook page?!!! That’s amazing.
By the way, I have found that often the children that we remember decorating cookies with have memories just as fond as ours. You don’t have to stop.
I am loving my new web site. I have lots of ideas to share. If you have ideas/projects using molds, stamps, or shortbread pans, please send them. I’ll post them.
Best,
Lucy
Thank you so much for your wonderful site! I haven’t used my cookie molds and stamps for a few years and realized I lost my cookie stamp recipe booklet (but still have the cookie mold recipes). I was so thrilled to see that Sarah had the same question (I have the Winnie the Pooh stamp too)and it had already been answered! I’m excited about your new stamp designs and shortbread pans, and getting back into beautiful cookie making myself.
Hello, Lucy! The link for “find a retailer” is not working; I’d like to know where to purchase these stamps. I love my molds, and use them for cookies and for beeswax ornaments as well! Haven’t yet tried paper casting, although it’s definitely on the “project” list. Will be making shortbread this week as well.
Hi, Marie,
We are still updating and working on the “Find a Store” tab. Sorry about that. Also, we might not have a retailer in your area. If you want to find the stamps, however, go to http://www.sweetnfancy.com. They are a great store,, I have done business with them for ages, and they mail order. I’m sure they can help you.
Best,
Lucy
Hi I would like to purchase a set of Christmas cookie stamps. How do I go about doing that? Thank you Crystal
Try emersoncreekpottery.com, then click on “cookie stamps” in the sidebar that lists all of the different products they have available. I know that they carry the Brown Bag stamps.
